The Japanese Ministry for Health, Labor and Welfare has established a support network for foreign companies in Japan as part of the National Strategic Special Zones Act. As part of this initiative, the Kansai Employment Consultation Center (KECC) has been established, which covers the area around Osaka, Hyogo and Kyoto.
The center provides seminars, individual consolations and on-site consultations in English to help foreign companies understand Japanese employment laws and related requirements. All services are free or charge.
