masterminded UK government’s fintech trade promotion and led global business development at fintech firms including in Japan

  • Makoto Shibata – Head of FINOLAB Chief Community Officer

Has been leading community development since 2019 at FINOLAB, Japan’s foremost fintech incubator. Prior to FINOLAB, he led R&D initiatives in emerging technology and online/mobile financial service at MUFJ Bank.

  • Naoki Kamimaeda – Partner, Head of Europe Division, Global Brain

Responsible for Europe investments. at Global Brain, a leading Japanese VC. Prior to his career in VC, he worked for Sony as a software researcher/engineer specialized in AI/ML and Big Data technologies.

  • Ryosuke Ushida – Chief Fintech Officer Financial Services Agency of Japan

Leads initiatives related to digital innovation in finance at the JFSA and also serves as the Co-chair of Virtual Asset Task Force, FATF. Prior to this, he conducted a research on regulatory framework / governance mechanism in decentralized financial system as Senior Fellow of Cyber SMART research centre at Georgetown University.
