The Department for Business and Trade, The Department for Education, and the British Council are organising a high-profile, ministerial led education delegation to Japan, aimed at showcasing the strength and diversity of British education to targeted Japanese partners and stakeholders. A key part of the mission will be a roundtable and reception for UK and Japanese ministers, investors and education providers at the UK Pavilion, Osaka Expo 2025.
The visit will bring together representatives from leading British Schools, universities, and English language assessment providers with a focus on:
- Building Strategic partnerships with Japanese institutions.
- Promoting UK education and qualifications.
- Exploring market opportunities and student recruitment prospects.
- Sharing best practise in teaching, assessment and internationalisation.
