The Science and Innovation network at the British Embassy in Tokyo in collaboration with UKTI and the GREAT Campaign organised a collaborative mission and series of talks in December 2015 to consider Ageing Transport Infrastructure Maintenance. Discussions focused on current and future research needs as well as areas of possible future collaboration between the two countries, and included high profile speakers and contributors.

Export to Japan is delighted to provide UK companies with access to an introductory video of the mission talks, complimentary slides, and a report giving an overview of the ageing infrastructure landscape in Japan, which all flag future potential business and research opportunities with Japan.

Ageing infrastructure is a sector of interest to both UKTI and the Science and Innovation Network, and will therefore be looking to promote further events and information in 2016.  Please make sure to check back with Export to Japan to find guidance on the latest opportunities in this field.
