The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is arranging the 9th UK-Japan Nuclear Industry Forum, to be held at the Ambassador’s Residence in the British Embassy Tokyo on Tuesday 7 October 2025. The forum is organised with the support of the British Market Council. Attendees will include senior members of both Industry and Government from the UK and Japan, including representatives from METI, TEPCO, JAEA, Japanese Utilities and many more across the Japanese supply chain.
Aligning with the visit of a senior delegation from the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, the event this year will focus solely on decommissioning. The event will include an opportunity for attendees to present a brief overview of their company to the Japanese audience, as well as to exhibit their capabilities at stands during coffee breaks and networking time. The event will also include updates on decommissioning from both the UK and Japan, a panel discussion and an evening networking reception.

- There will be a limit of ~20 UK companies. If more than 20 companies apply, a selection process may need to be applied
